Delivery of patient media
Normally patients can expect to have their results back to their referring physician within 24-48 hours. Results are delivered either electronically or the patient can take their images at the time of their examination. Medically Urgent cases will always be prioritised and should be back at the patient’s referring physician or any subsequent relevant medical personnel within 2 hours post completion of the patients examination.
Uniradiology Southport happily deliver films or CD’s to practices who accept delivery of patient media. Reports will then be forwarded to the referring practice.
